When Life gets Real

I just had to write a quick post to mention the chaos that has been going on at my school all day.  This morning, five students were arrested after five months of undercover investigation revealed them to be drug dealers.

Although I was not affiliated with any of these students, it is very scary for something this extreme to happen so close to home, and I'm still a little bit shaken by the whole thing.

If you are interested in reading the play-by-play account painstakingly composed by our very own Blue and White Online, part 1 can be found here, and part 2 can be found here.

I never thought of hard drug sales as something that occurred on college campuses, and although I accept my own naivety in believing that these things did not go on, I certainly never imagined that $11,000 in drug sales to one undercover cop alone could have occurred over the last five months in frat houses only six blocks from the building I call home.
